Winter's Ballet

I dare embrace this winter bane
Its naked scape; incites disdain
Compelling smiles for trees that wane

Remembering, they'll be lush again

But twisted boughs create a stance
Aplomb; in wait, for snowflake’s chance
To 'Pas de deux' their blustery dance

Then pirouette- to spring’s romance
